Minnetonka is sailable right now! Yesterday's slush froze overnight, still alittle soft around shore, but firm 100 yards out. Winds North @ 15.

People are scouting Lower Lake Minnetonka for access... and will be setting up shortly... plenty of breeze today... excellent forecast for Sunday... cold overnight, 10-13 mph tomorrow...

An excellent opportunity to steal a ride...

Anyone is welcome to launch from Shorewood Yacht Club. Boats can be carried down the docks to good ice.(small trailers can be wheeled down) Club House will be open for restrooms etc.
