Soft ice
Can anybody give me some tips on what different runners work best for soft ice conditions?

soft ice runners
Soft ice is a reletive thing. 3/16 inserts or thin Ts are great until the ice is too soft to support the runner and it starts carving deep grooves. Then a thicker (1/4)runner works until the ice is too soft to support the runner and it starts carving deep grooves, then a still thicker runner until ....
THe thickest runner is an angle aka "slushie", runner riding surface up to an inch or more wide. Next thickest is a fat T, maximum width T. Then plates or 1/4 inserts...
