Maybe some filters too?
I'm an outdoors writer working on a story about ice boating -- its challenges, frustrations but also its thrills. I'm also desperately in need of photos for the story. Anyone interested in chatting, please contact me. Further, can a site editor let me know if it's OK to use the photos posted on this site? Please contact me. Thanks much!

and technically when i put on the web cam, 'pit area' it should have really been 'launch area'.. but then again on monday & tuesday it was the launch & pit because we didn't race..
and my wacky Capitalization, does that bug anybody?..
I'm going to be upgrading the site to the new drupal code. Drupal is what this site is using for the content management.
I'll also be playing with the layout a bit. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of a 2 column setup, so the forum's and pictures have more room. And try to get rid of some of the front page clutter.
I'll also add a few features like bookmarks, pictures on the front page, removing those comment pulldowns, adding html chat, buddy lists, notifications on forums.
I'd really like to see some sort of WAP/phone interface so you could check/check-in using those new high-tech phones. With a picture phone, someone could do a pretty good early morning on-scene report.
Hello,
I just got into this sport last winter, albeit
with a VERY crude "ice boat" (note the quotes) I
bought for $100, minus mast and sail. Bought a
large windsurfer with 2 sails for $120, and gave
the board away to friends to float their lift out
of the lake in the fall and back into lake in spring.
It had 20" chain saw bars for the side runners,
which actually worked quite well, except were too
limber. So, last summer I bought a 14' Hobie Cat,
whose mast and sail I intend to adapt to a all-new
redesigned iceboat.
I'm located in NC Minnesota by Hackensack, and have
yet to encounter anyone else interested in this
Scott C,
Great photo you posted. Who is it?

Let me know if something isn't working or just doesn't seem right. I suppose you can post if you like something too. ;-)
