Ready to load into the trailer...

Together again for the first time...Today was a day for finishing up. The big project was mounting the plank to the hull and doing an alignment. I also spent some "quality time" on the sharpener getting rid of a couple of small flat spots on my inserts.

One minor speed-bump was that the hull and plank didn't quite mate together. The studs were slightly to far outboard (or the hull plates slightly inboard). This was the first time I'd had any problems with hulls and planks not fitting together perfectly and it was a bit of a surprise. Some quick work with a round rasp on the hull plate fixed the problem. When I make my next jig I'm going to allow a bit more space on the outside of the oval hole to allow for installation error and manufacturing tolerances on the parts.
