Wally Hall built a handful of oversize "experimental" planks (9 foot with rear raised spoiler edge) and one is included with the original plank. This boat is in excellent condition and being sold ready to sail with all accessories.

The ice boat bug was definitely in the air at this year’s Tonka Swap Meet. A special thanks to Mike Maloney for organizing the event and to the Shorewood Yacht Club for the use of their facility.
Although not a ton of equipment changed hands, it was good to see so many enthusiastic iceboaters getting ready for the upcoming season.

We don't view this as our swap meet but the ice boating communities swap meet.

William B. ‘Bill’ Sarns, 83, of Harrison Township, Michigan, passed away
in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Detroit's Henry
Ford Hospital, surrounded by his family. He died from complications of type 1
diabetes, which he battled quietly and courageously for over 61 years. He
was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on July 15, 1928 and was a lifelong
resident of the area. On August 15, 1959, he was united in marriage with Evelyn
Harken 3" H005 Block, great block for the foremost Boom Block.
