The dowel on the right side is to help fill a void I found at the edge of the access-hole where epoxy apparently didn't flow down completely Tuesday.
The cockpit side of the hole through the floor is ready to be filled with some magic blue stuff, and its patch glued over the top.
Because the plywood was ground away over such a wide band, I added a tab of glass over the edge to tie the bottom to the sideboard. It was probably overkill...
